3-2-1 Pledge for
Energy Independence

Participants promise to:

- install three compact fluorescent bulbs in their homes
(These bulbs last 10 times as long as
incandescent bulbs and use 75% less energy),

- adjust their thermostat up or down by two degrees,

- and drive one mile per hour below the speed limit
(cars get better gas mileage at lower speeds).
