Scotland County, MO Voters don't want CAFOs

Scotland County voters voted 58% in favor of
reinstating their county health ordinance
protecting homeowners from the threat of large livestock confinement operations. County Commissioners were "shocked" by the results and have promised to bring back the health ordinance.
In a related story, a Missouri couple near Stockton Lake
won $1.1 million
in July in a lawsuit against a nearby hog farm.
