Platte County, Missouri Resolution #07-02 Platte County Green Build Program

WHEREAS, the County of Platte in an effort to incorporate sustainable building practices that save money, reduce energy usage and pollution, and

WHEREAS, the County Commission and Planning and Zoning Department deem it a high priority to plan, create and implement a successful voluntary Green Build Program, and

WHEREAS, the goal of the Green Build Program shall be to establish a voluntary program that promotes energy efficiency, water conservation, and a reduction in pollution to benefit all citizens of the County, and

WHEREAS, the County through the Planning and Zoning Department shall offer a user friendly voluntary Green Build Program which shall set yearly participation goals, and

WHEREAS, the County shall form the "Platte County Green Build Program" committee to help develop said program,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Commission of the County of Platte, that the County shall seek to develop the Platte County Green Build Program.

PASSED AND RESOLVED BY THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF THE COUNTY OF PLATTE, MISSOURI.
